The commitment to quality at SOS begins with the hiring process. Candidates for security posts must clear a rigorous screening program that includes:

    • FBI National Background check
    • Florida Department of Law Enforcement Background check
    • 7 year driving history check

Licensed security officers must also complete 40 hours of training by a state of Florida approved school. Our security guard are expected to renew their Class D security license every two years.

Armed guards must also complete additional training and hold a Class G license. Candidates must successfully complete 28 additional hours of classroom and firearm range training to earn a Class G license. Annual recertification is required.

    Standard of Excellence

SOS understands clients expect the highest level of training and development from their contract security officers, and we strive to create an environment of continuous training and development aimed at retaining the highest performing security personnel.

The Right Security Guard for the Job

Before a security guard takes a post, SOS conducts further evaluations to match officers with an assignment, and the officer will receive site-specific training. Only highly motivated officers with outstanding people skills will be assigned to your post.

Because SOS values the customization of its security services, guards don’t rotate between posts, guaranteeing consistent placement and visual recognition of your SOS contract security personnel.

    Professionalism & On-Going Support

Your security guards will report for duty in distinct, professional uniforms. SOS security officers wear light blue or white uniform shirts with security badge and navy blue or black trousers, navy blue caps, black belt and black shoes or boots.

Once your security officers are on the job, the SOS management team is continuously on call and follows up with unscheduled site evaluation visits to ensure the best possible service to our clients.

With its commitment to screening, training and development, SOS guards are the perfect solution to your security needs.
